Rose Mary (Tiny) Stewart, 68, of Salisbury, passed away Feb. 26, 2011, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Stewart was born March 22, 1942, in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Johnny Grissom and Rose Lee Trexler. Educated in the Rowan County School system, she worked at N.C. Finishing Company and later retired from Collins & Aikman. She was a member of Sloan Lake Community Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two late husbands, Ervin Frank Spry and Donald Reed Stewart; a grandchild, Rose Star Grissom; a great-grandchild; one sister, Barbara Grissom Fabian; and two step sisters.

She is survived by her long time companion of 21½ years, Arnold Paul Burleson of Salisbury; three sons, Michael Linn Grissom and wife Debbie, James Lee Grissom and wife Ginger, Jeffery Ervin Spry and wife Janet, all of Salisbury; a daughter, Tammy Grissom of Texas; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and special niece and nephew, Teresa and Terry Snider.

Service: A Memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, March 4 at Sloan Lake Community Church, 10255 Old Concord Rd., China Grove, N.C. 28023 conducted by Rev. Zachary Sizemore, pastor, and Pastor Chris Williams of Woodleaf Baptist Church.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the church from 4-5 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
